Art Fusion exhibit, a collaborative exhibition by Turkish and Ukrainian artists was held at Arta Gallery from February 16 to 22. Together, artists Gabriel Ruhi Tuna and Oleh Lesiuk, Vera Yurchuk, Stanislav Khomenko, Sara B. Caglar, Muveddet Al-Katib, Mustafa Cetin, Ivan Lazirko, Christina Kudryk, and Cem Basarir harmoniously celebrated Canada’s 150th anniversary through art and cultural diversity.

The artists focused on creating unique art pieces that reflect Canada’s history, culture and values.

 

The Consul General of Turkey and Ukraine were also present at the exhibition.

Among the guests were the Consul General of Turkey, Mr. Erdeniz Sen and the Consul General of Ukraine, Mr. Andrey Veselovskyi. At the inauguration, the two Consuls emphasized the importance of art for the creation of bridges between the different communities in Canada.
