Edmonton Türk toplumu 23 Nisan Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı’nı kutluyor.

Edmonton Türk Kanada Derneği yayınlamış olduğu bildiride şunları kaydetti:

“Sevgili Edmontonlular,

23 Nisan Ulusal Egemenlik ve Çocuk Bayramı vesilesi ile bu yıl dördüncüsünü düzenleyeceğimiz Edmonton Çok Kültürlü Çocuk Festivali 22 Nisan Pazar Günü Central Lion’s Recreation Centre’da yapılacaktır. Haftasonu okulu çocuklarımızın folklör gösterileri, çocuk korosu yanında Edmonton’daki pek çok farklı grubun katılacağı etkinliğimizde çocuklarımıza unutulmaya yüz tutan sokak oyunlarını da öğretmeye çalışacağız. Çocuklar kadar büyüklerin de eğlendiği bu etkinliğimize tüm vatandaşlarımızı bekliyoruz.

Dear Edmontonians,

We are getting ready to celebrate the April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children’s Day by organizing the 4th Annual Multicultural Children’s Festival on Sunday, April 22nd at the Central Lion’s Recreation Center. Children from our weekend school are working hard to prepare folk dances, songs and they will be joined by other children’s dance groups representing the diverse cultures of our great country. Like last year we will also teach children old street games we used to play in our host countries. Please join us for this great event.
