A Minority Government Conservative... Again!

MONTREAL BUREAU - The next government will be again Conservative and minority.

For Turkish community it was a new challenge. A member of the community presented his candidature to the election from of the Conservative Party.

Aydin Cocelli from Turkish community who presented to the Election Canada 2008 in York South - Weston as the candidate of Conservative Party. Since coming to Canada, Mr. Cocelli and his family have owned and operated a fast food restaurant, a long time fixture in the Weston community. Mr. Cocelli is married to Mme Birgul and he is the father to two young children.

During his election campaign Notre Anatolie tried to reach him for an interview and to get his opinion for some questions concerned by electors, but Mr. Cocelli did not return the calls neither by phone nor by email.

Mr. Cocelli was defeated vs. Mr. Alan Tonks from Liberal Party in his District.
